Pound duties: Medicating and caring for domestic animals. Answering of phones, data entry, handling of monies, impound/release and adoption of all animals. Licence Inspector; licence enforcement. Animal Control Officer: enforcing the Animal Control bylaws within the municipality of Victoria and the District of Oak Bay. Duties include patrols (including parks), investigation and follow-up of complaints/incidences, issuance of verbal warnings, warning notices and Municipal tickets where appropriate.
